ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a way to integrate data and processes of an organization in a single system, with sub-systems including hardware, software and a unified database to achieve integration, to store data the various functions found throughout the organization. The term used to refer ERP on how large industrial-type organizations plan to use the resources of the organization wide. Today, ERP is used in almost any organization, whether your little big, or so the industry drops in.
CRM is an acronym for Customer Relationship Management. There are many ways in which people manage their relationships with their customers, some companies are so small that they know their customers by name and when the client says they’ll have the custom, the owner knows exactly what they mean. Some companies offer highly specialized services to its clients is a fairly small and regular basis.
Due to globalization and ICT, SCM has become a tool for companies to compete effectively both locally or on a global scale. SCM has become a necessity, especially for the manufacturing industry in providing products at a competitive cost and with better quality than their competitors.
